Allied Arts: Kaleidoscope of Color

June 3-25, 2022

Allied Arts of Whatcom County invites you to our Kaleidoscope of Color exhibit. This show, featuring the works of Melissa Morales-Rush, Taj Williams, Lori VanEtta, and Karen Hanrahan, invites the viewer into an exploration of scintillating and varied colors and shapes.

Melissa Morales-Rush's work is a range of abstract, fantastical, surreal and impressionist imagery using a combination of mixed media, digital media, traditional painting, and fluid art techniques- including paint pouring and Ebru.

Taj Williams is a master of spray paint, using graffiti style and bright color to make his work.

Lori VanEtta creates acrylic abstract impressionistic paintings.

Karen Hanrahan’s photography is narrative and described as organic and intimate.

We honor our relationship with all of our Coast Salish neighbors and our shared responsibilities to their homeland where we all reside.
